Cyclocephala signaticollis (Argentinian scarab)

Subfamily Dynastinae.

Native to temperate southern South America, accidentally introduced to Australia. Larvae, which are typical 'curl grubs', can damage turf when in high numbers. Adult beetles are quite variable in the extent of the dark markings on the pronotum and elytra.
