User's notes

Misty Gem with a male, first sighting. Note from LSH: NB, EL, & LSH were returning from a bird/wildflower outing when a male glossy flew across the road in front of them! NB quickly found a safe place to park & we walked back along the road to where we had seen the glossy. A car passed us, then reversed - a local landowner stopped for a brief chat! We explained about seeing the glossy & hoping to take some photos for Glossies in the Mist. The landowner was familiar with GITM & had helped plant trees for a recent project. We were invited to their property at some future date to look for glossies. We located this pair of glossies by the sound of cones popping! Photos by EL (images 1,2,4) & LSH (images 3,5)
