Morton NP / Bundanoon is incongruous with the distribution of X. glauca. This geographic area is consistent with the almost indistinguishable species, X. australis.

X. glauca angustifolia does not occur in Morton NP. There is a definitive boundary between the two species, whereby X. australis occurs on the eastern scarp of the Dividing Range and along the milder coastal regions in SE NSW, by contrast, X. glauca angustifolia occurs further inland west over the Dividing Range in NSW. This region is not consistent with X. glauca's distribution.
