I've found 3 other sightings of A. helianthi recorded on SHNM. However, it doesn't currently show in the Field Guide. So how were the other records made? What has to be done confirm my sighting?
Hi Andy, I agree daisies is an odd place to put it given it isn’t in that family. I can only assume they did it because of it’s daisy-like appearance so perhaps they think that’s where most people will look for it but given that A. forsythii and A. minor are in the more appropriate category of Other Wildflowers & Herbs it might be worth a review.
I've moved the Actinotus helianthi that was in Daisies into Other Shrubs & merged your duplicate species with it. Let us know if there are any other species classified incorrectly.
