Hmmm this is an interesting one. So it was flowering last week? Eriochilus are meant to flower in autumn, so not sure what this one is doing. The well-developed leaf and leaf shape is normally indicative of E petricola (E cucullatus leaves are normally only just emerging as it flowers, and become larger after flowering), although not sure about when it flowers in spring.
Hi Tobias. It was actually recorded on 15 March this year - see sighting info. So it could be either but I agree the the leaf characteristics, and zooming in what looks like might be a red underside strongly suggests E.petricola. So I'll go with that. Thanks.
