We found this fairly fresh carcass, looks like it had been attacked by something and was missing part of its head. By the look of its nose, I am guessing a Bandicoot?
Definitely a Bandicoot and most likely a Long-nosed Bandicoot. Although much rarer and highly unlikely, Southern-brown Bandicoot is also a possibility, but need an expert to rule it out. Great find all the same.
