User's notes

Eucalyptus sp. regenerating after fire and rain. This is the largest/oldest tree on the property. Growing in an ex-pine plantation (harvested 3 years ago), which was showing good signs of regen before the fire.

Possibly a Sydney Peppermint, due to the "wrinkles" in the elbows of the branches. Hard to tell for sure without mature fruit.

Best to list as Eucalyptus sp. for now. If you return to the location then photos of additional features will be needed (buds, fruit, juvenile leaves) to identify accurately to the species. Would be good information to see a timeline of its recovery.
