User's notes

This is the same spider as the one in sightings 4662338 & 4662339. size ~10 mm. I find this spider fascinating so have been checking on it almost daily since the first sighting on 14.04.2025. Each time I checked, it was on the same clump of agapanthus & in an ambush posture. For this sighting it had moved to a different leaf & caught another insect, possibly a weevil.

Thanks @MichaelMulvaney. Now that I know it's a weevil, I'll look through my photos of weevils from around our yard and nearby nature strip. I don't often see weevils.
