Thanks very much, @poida84 for these beautiful photos. With respect to the project Glossies in the Mist, the female pictured in photos 1 & 2 is named 'Sunset' & this is her 4th sighting - so important after the fire. If you would like to have her included in the collection for Glossies in the Mist, please click on the star on the top right of the page for your sighting.
Yes, @poida84, the team working on identifications of female glossies (flossies) for GITM has this flossy as another sighting of Sunset. Sunset is a very interesting flossy for GITM. She was first named with a sighting in 2014, then reappeared in your sighting of Aug 2019. She was next photographed just before the 2019 fire (see NatureMapr sighting 4636345) & finally identified in this sighting following the fire.
@GITM2 that is interesting i remember naming her in 2019? with 4636388 4636389 as another observer janine i think her name was passed it to me for naming but first spotted her. ill update it to sunset now just awesome i hope she still around. be good to have update.
@poida84, this sighting is the last one of Sunset we are aware of. We were so happy to know that she had survived the 2019 fire. If you see her again, we would love to know about it! Thanks for your interest and for uploading your sightings to NatureMapr.
