That of course is the differential diagnosis. But so open, position on reeds, light coloured beak and dark line thro eye and white above. The definitive difference is the call. Try to listen to both.

They were soft tones, not the loud tones of the reed warbler. Naturemapr did not accept the recording so I uploaded it on my Dutch account.

The LGB call is very distinct as a piping plantive call usually from a hidden position and repeated many times.

Agree with this ID, the face patterning is different from Reed-Warbler, and back appears streaky. I can clearly here a Grassbird in your recording (though there appears to be Reed-Warblers in the background too).
