Thanks Barbara We generally observe mating very close to nesting hollows (ie within 50m) so if you can watch for the direction that birds are coming from that would be good and look out for a hollow of around 15cm x 20cm (higher than wider). Hollow heights range from 3- 25m off the ground. Gang-gangs are likely to be chewing around hollow entrance at the moment and then will be pretty quite around the hollow for the next 6 weeks so now is the time to try and find it Cheers Michael
Thank you Michael, We are watching and searching. We only have a smallish block of residual native bush, so it's unlikely to be in our garden, but we have asked neighbours to keep an eye out. Barbara
