Well spotted, never seen one of these in NSW. We used to get them fairly often in SA.

Thank you. I've seen them very occasionally up here and they usually present much more of a challenge to photograph. This one was too preoccupied to worry about the camera.

These birds are limited essentially to Vict. and NSW. and are fairly common but easily missed. Best found by listening for the sound of their tearing off the bark high in the trees looking for insects.
