Glenquarry is a rural area with mostly beef cattle grazing and dairy enterprises. There are some amazing remnant forests and beautiful spring-fed streams with a rich diversity of geology and soil type.
The flower was less than 10mm wide. I haven’t seen T. rubra but the books point out the salmon colour on the column which these didn’t have. Other plants to come in to flower so needs watching.
I haven’t seen T rubra but this one looks like it could be? Dark band of colour on column and column arms with a bit toothy fluff. Was the flower larger than T carnea?
