@Curiosity Thanks for that info, I just had a look at South Coast Nm and I am convinced that it is the Meomyia sp. even maybe Meomyia sericans but because I am not 100 percent sure about Meomyia sericans will put it under Meomiyia sp.
Hi Aussiegall. Interesting bee fly and nice detail of the wing venation. I like your suggestion of Meomyia sp. Have you seen the sightings for this genus on South Coast NM?
Great sighting, GlossyGal. On iNaturalist Australia, A. calophthalma is very similar to A. atherix but I think the coloration and wing patterns in your photos are a better match with the former.
