New species for this NatureMapr region: Southern Highlands when confirmed. Excellent sharp photo showing the ring spots on the forewing and the brownish margin to the trailing margin of the forewing.
Lookng at Moths of Victoria (Vol 4). they illustrate a complex of Rhuma (genus) species for Victoria: three named species (R. argyraspis, R. divergens and R. thiobapta-an inland species) plus at least 4 unnamed species. I think this moth looks most like their 'Rhuma sp.(3)' which they say also occurs in NSW and Queensland.
