Ist record of this species "wild" in the ACT. The species is widely naturalised in Australia and a significant weed in South Africa

User's notes

IC 10469. In fruit. Fruits creamy. Myrtus communis ssp. tarentina. Assumed to be a garden escape. Has been used as a hedge species in Canberra. On a steep S slope of Urambi Hills CNP, above Tuggeranong Creek, not a likely spot for a former garden.
