Possibly, the name was mispelled in the paper that described this speices so there are at least two names out there. In terms of significance, this plant is actually fairly common, just difficult to identify. The "rare/uncommon" listing comes from CNM where it has been recorded once or twice regionally. I am trying to get this fixed.
