The blotching on this plant are quite subdued, and the dorsal sepal and labellum side-lobes are quite rounded. Because of that I doubt this true D. pardina. The other options are D. nigromontana, but that typically has less rounded labellum side-lobes, and D. semilunulata, but that typically flowers mid to late October. I wonder then if this plant is a really early flowering D. semilunulata or maybe a hybrid with D. semilunulata and one of the other two species as the other parent?

Hi @MattM , you say Diuris semilunulata typically flowers mid to late October, but you have confirmed my recent sightings on Wanniassa Hill as D. semilunulata. Are these unusually early or should they be looked at again?

Sorry @Mike. I meant to respond but apparently forgot. Your plants were D. semilunulata. The orchids were flowering a little earlier during the Spring 2023 season. It is likely you also stumbled upon some of the early bloomers too.
