Hi Helina. Are you sure of the location near the footpath? That would be quite unusual. It is much more likely to be in the nature reserve.

Hi Michael, I'm 100% certain. I was also surprised to see it there because I've lived here for about 12 years and this is the first time I've seen it in this area. I also had a quick walk through the Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve (just the area near me) and there weren't any plants there at all.

Thanks Halina, an interesting find. there should be some in the area adjacent to the conder ponds. i have recorded them there in the past, example sighting 30104: Eryngium ovinum (Blue Devil)

When I walked around on the weekend, I didn't see any but I'll have a closer look this evening.

Hi michaelb, I walked up and down both sides of the ponds but saw only the one plant. I also walked through the area of your previous siting but didn't see any there either.

Maybe the recent drought wiped them out in the woodlands nearby. My most recent record of them there was 2016.
