FBM400: Black Mtn Belconnen Way sightings

The dam 80m south of Belconnen Way and 500m West of Barry Drive stop where cherry-man stands in summer, walk though gate and up a small walking path to the left (towards civic) walk on formed road parallel to Belconnen way towards the city past 1 power pole. At the lowest point of path (drainage line) turn in a 90 degree angle to the right (away from Belconnen Way) and find the pond at the edge of the bush, approx. 50 m from the formed road. You can also park on first parking spot when coming from civic (this one is only 100m away from the second=cherry man spot) but you will have to navigate a fence here to get to the fire trail/formed road. However, buckets positioned on both sides of the fence make it quite easy to navigate the wire.
