The Neobatrachus was some distance up slope from the dam. Its call was fairly faint. We had a clear hearing of it as we walked to the site: a series of 5-7 closely spaced calls then a long break. The calls lacked the rising notes as the end of the sequence, but were similar to what was previously identified as their summer call.
