Shot? Does not look starved. And is not near a road. If not shot maybe dog attack. Trouble is, evidence of dog attack is often invisible until you skin the rump and find severe bruising from bite marks there.

I don't think it would have been shot - no reason to and not much access to this location really. I haven't seen dogs in this area. I initially thought it must have been the sick one I saw in sighting 4392398 but its condition seemed better than that?!

While I don’t think this animal was shot we have been finding a number of arrows lately. I guess the hunters would be mostly after the deer and pigs but I’ll keep a closer eye on the roos now.
