Hi Kurt. Thanks. I use either a Canon 5D with a diffused Canon 600EX II-RT flash, or mostly, a Canon 50D with either its integral flash (diffused with polystyrene tissue) or with the Canon 600EX II-RT. I use the 50D's integral flash when I'm really close up to subjects because the 600EX II-RT flash sits up a bit high on the camera for some close-up work. This sighting was with the Canon 50D and the 600 flash. The lens I mostly use is Canon's EF100mm f/2.8L Macro lens. Its good for 1:1X work (and also a great lens for astrophotography). For 1:2 up to 1:5X I use Canon's MP-E 65 lens with its dual-flash system. It's a manual lens without stabiliser or auto-focus so requires some patience, but worth the effort. No particular reason for using Canon, however, I've been happy with the equipment. Hope this helps. Tim
